Ula Uberbusen was an original member of the innovative neo-burlesque and vaudeville troupe, Salomé Cabaret in Knoxville, TN and is known for her hilarious comedy and her moving performance art pieces. Her famous “Beauty Queen” act has won numerous awards, including the “Beautiful Weirdo” Award at Alternatease, the New England Neo-Burlesque Festival (2013), the “Judges Choice” Award & “Perle Noire’s Favorite Act” at The Great Burlesque Exposition (2014), and “Most Original Act” at the Oklahoma City Burlesque Festival (2015). She is the creator of the worlds first burlesque trilogy, the epic and insane story of a cat lady’s struggles with her inappropriate love for kitty.
